A Money Project Course
Launch Ready
A Financial Start for Post-Secondary
A four-week financial education program for students heading into post-secondary in the fall. This is not a lecture series about saving money and making good choices. It is a practical, honest program that gives students real tools, real numbers, and real conversations about what their financial life is about to look like. By the end of four weeks, students know what their money is, where it goes, what their debt actually costs, and how to protect themselves from the financial traps that follow people for years.
Who it's for
Students heading into college or university in the fall who want to start with a clear financial foundation, not figure it out after the damage is done. Launch Ready is also available as a workplace program for employers who want to offer it as a staff benefit for employees with children heading into post-secondary this fall.
What you will learn
Week 1 — Know What You Have
Understand your income, how OSAP actually works, what lands in your account and when, and how to build a real semester budget before you spend a dollar.
Week 2 — Spend Like You Mean It
Learn to make intentional trade-offs, find the student discounts and free tools most students never use, and understand credit cards before they become a problem.
Week 3 — Protect Your Future Self
Build your credit score from the start, understand what your student debt really costs to repay, start an emergency fund on a student budget, and learn to recognize the high-cost financial traps designed to catch people with limited options.
Week 4 — Think Ahead (Even a Little)
Open a TFSA, file your taxes and claim what you are owed, and get an honest picture of what your first financial year after graduation actually looks like, so it does not catch you off guard.
How it works
A four-week live cohort with a maximum of 10 students per group. Each week includes three focused sessions, homework that produces real, usable financial information about your own situation, and takeaways you keep beyond the program.
Delivery options
Virtual: live over video call, same small group format from home.
In person: delivered in Toronto, location confirmed upon registration.
Workplace: virtual or on-site, priced per cohort, contact us for scheduling.
Investment
$200
per student, in a small cohort of 10 for real conversation. Workplace pricing available upon request.
Most financial education for young people arrives either too early to be relevant or too late to prevent damage. Launch Ready is designed for the window that actually matters: the summer before post-secondary begins, when the decisions are imminent and the habits are not yet set.
Book Your Spot in Launch Ready
Spots are limited to keep each cohort small. Tell us how you would like to join and we will reach out to confirm.

What a Financial Foundations Program is
A Financial Foundations Program is a small group of people working through the same financial goal together, over several weeks, with structure and accountability built in. Unlike a workshop, which is a single session, a Financial Foundations Program moves step by step through a plan, with support along the way. This format is honest about the fact that most financial goals are not solved in an hour. They take time, consistency, and a plan you can actually follow.
