The Money Project (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") operates the website themoneyproject.ca. We collect personal information in the following ways.

Information you provide directly

When you submit a form on this site, including the workshop booking form, the program waitlist form, the app notification form, or the contact form, we collect the information you enter. This may include your name, email address, company name, program interests, and any message you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

When you visit this site, we automatically collect certain technical information through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including your approximate location, device and browser type, pages visited, and how you interact with the site. This information is collected using cookies and similar technologies, as described in Section 5 below.

3. How we use your information

We use the personal information we collect to:

  • Respond to workshop booking requests, waitlist signups, and contact form messages
  • Send confirmation and notification emails related to your request
  • Understand how visitors use this site so we can improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of our marketing, including Google Ads campaigns
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We do not sell personal information to third parties.

4. How we store and share your information

Form submissions are stored securely using Supabase, a database hosting provider. Email communications are sent using Resend, an email delivery provider. These providers process information on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

We may disclose personal information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of The Money Project, our clients, or others.

5. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate correctly and to understand how it is used. Specifically, we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to collect anonymized and pseudonymized information about site usage, such as pages viewed, time spent on the site, and general geographic location.

When you first visit this site, you are shown a cookie consent banner. Non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, are only activated after you provide consent. You may decline non-essential cookies, and you may change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's stored data for this site.

Essential cookies required for the site to function are not subject to this consent choice.
